Full Time & Part Time Nanny
Your Investment:

Nanny/Household Manager
A hybrid role where the professional handles a mix of childcare, light housekeeping, and household organization.
Duties:
- Family Schedule Management
- Errands & Groceries
- Meal Planning & Some Preparation
- Household Organization
- Drop off/pick up children
- Seasonal closet Swap
- Children's laundry
- Managing after-school activities
- Keeping children's play areas and rooms clean and tidy
- Shopping for children, Target pick up or exchange.
Housekeeper
A housekeeper primarily focuses on the cleaning and maintenance of the home. Housekeepers may not have a high level of childcare background as their primary responsibility is your home. While a household manager/nanny oversees the household's overall operations, including scheduling, organizing and childcare, a housekeeper is specifically dedicated to the home's cleanliness and day-to-day upkeep.
Duties:
- Deep clean the home
- Maintenance of the mudroom
- Vacuuming
- Dusting
- Swifting
- Family laundry
- Maintaining and cleaning the refrigerator
- Make beds
- Light ironing
- Wash & chop fruits/veggies
Option 1 (12 hours/week): 3 days per week. 4 hours each day. Flexible on the 3 days and flexible on start/end times. No Sundays.
Option 2 (12-16 hours/week): 2 days per week. 6, 7 or 8 hours each day. Flexible on the 2 days and on start/end times. No Sundays.
TIMELINE; The timeline for filling a position can vary from one week to up to 12 weeks, depending on the position. Additionally, it’s important to keep in mind that most nannies need to provide a one-month to 45-day notice to their current family after signing the contract.
EXAMPLE TIMELINE
(WEEK 1) Initial call, family application filled out by the family, job post created by Second City Nannies, job post approval, service agreement signed, engagement payment submitted, and your job listing goes online!
(WEEK 2) 2-3 top tier candidates sent over for review, and introductions are made, some interviews start.
(WEEK 3) Interviews have begun and possibly trials.
(WEEK 4) Interviews, trials, offer letters sent out, parent nanny agreement signed, nanny gives notice.
(WEEK 4-10) Nanny begins employment.
