TIMELINE; The timeline for filling a position can vary from one week to up to 12 weeks, depending on the position. Additionally, it’s important to keep in mind that most nannies need to provide a one-month to 45-day notice to their current family after signing the contract.
EXAMPLE TIMELINE
(WEEK 1) Initial call, family application filled out by the family, job post created by Second City Nannies, job post approval, service agreement signed, engagement payment submitted, and your job listing goes online!
(WEEK 2) 2-3 top tier candidates sent over for review, and introductions are made, some interviews start.
(WEEK 3) Interviews have begun and possibly trials.
(WEEK 4) Interviews, trials, offer letters sent out, parent nanny agreement signed, nanny gives notice.
(WEEK 4-10) Nanny begins employment.
