Experienced Nanny Needed – Riverwoods Family (16–24 Hours/Week)
Warm and welcoming family in Riverwoods seeks a compassionate, dependable, and experienced nanny to care for our two children ages 12-7 years old. Oldest child has autism, so experience working with children on the autism spectrum or with other special needs is strongly preferred.
The majority of your time will be spent caring for our oldest child, with some care and supervision needed for the younger child as well.
Schedule
- 16 or 24 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Flexible depending on the right candidate’s availability.
Compensation
- $42–$45 per hour, guaranteed compensation if the nanny’s services aren’t needed 1-2 days out of the weekend.
- A one-month signing bonus is provided. (After 2 months of employment)
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced working with children with autism or other developmental differences
- Patient, nurturing, and engaging
- Reliable, energetic, and proactive
- Comfortable providing structure while creating a fun, supportive environment
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing attentive, individualized care
- Supporting daily routines
- Preparing meals and snacks for the children
- Participating in outside activities
