Position Details
- Location: Lincoln Park, Chicago
- Start Date: Around Labor Day 2026
- Schedule: 30–40 hours per week
- Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
This is a salaried position designed to provide consistent, guaranteed compensation—even during weeks when the family’s schedule requires fewer hours.

Responsibilities
Child & Family Support
- School drop-offs and pickups as needed
- Driving to activities, appointments, and playdates
- Assisting with homework and after-school routines
- Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities during school breaks or when schedules require
- Providing a dependable, nurturing, and encouraging presence in the child’s life
Household Management
- Grocery shopping and keeping the home stocked with household essentials
- Meal planning and healthy meal preparation
- Running errands (returns, pharmacy, post office, dry cleaning, etc.)
- Managing household supplies and inventory
- Coordinating occasional home service appointments
- Laundry and changing bed linens as needed
- Organizing closets, pantries, refrigerators, play areas, and common living spaces
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Keeping the kitchen clean after meal preparation
- Light daily tidying to maintain an organized and welcoming home
Please note: This is not a deep housekeeping position. Professional cleaners handle deep cleaning.
Household & Administrative Support
- Preparing for work travel and family vacations
- Receiving deliveries and helping manage household logistics
- Assisting with special projects and seasonal organization
- Occasionally adjusting your schedule for early mornings, evenings, or additional support during work travel, with advance notice whenever possible

- Authorized to work in the United States
- Comfortable using basic technology for scheduling, texting, grocery ordering, and household organization
