Full-Time Nanny Needed for One-Year-Old – Skokie
A warm and loving family in Skokie is seeking a nurturing, dependable, and engaging nanny to care for their sweet 1-year-old child. They are looking for someone who is patient, communicative, and enjoys creating a fun, safe, and enriching environment for a young toddler.
Schedule
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1 hour break)
- Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (2 hour break)
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (2 hour break)
- Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits
- $25–$32 per hour, based on experience
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Paid Federal Holidays
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care for a 1-year-old
- Read to the child daily to encourage early language development
- Take walks to the neighborhood park and library
- Plan age-appropriate play and developmental activities
- Prepare and feed meals and snacks for the child
- Complete the child’s laundry
- Let the family’s friendly 35-pound dog out into the yard as needed
Qualifications
- Experience caring for infants and toddlers
- Patient, kind, and nurturing
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Enjoys spending time outdoors and supporting early childhood development
- No vehicle required
