Marybell Perez – Przybylinski, Owner/Founder

I launched Second City Nannies® with the mindset of knowing how important it is for parents to trust their caregivers.  Prior to opening Second City Nannies®, I was a professional nanny for seven years for families in Chicago. From a very early age I knew whatever I did as a career, it had to involve kids, especially babies! After being a part of so many families lives, and being proud of connections I’ve made with them, I knew I had to continue reaching families on a deeper level.  While managing Second City Nannies® I continued to work part- time as a nanny, and household manager, as my love of the pursuit was not diminished. My wish to become a trusted and reliable resource for childcare, is only matched by my love of the nanny profession itself;  it truly is my passion.  Through this rewarding quest, I’ve become a mother to a sixteen year old girl, just welcomed a baby boy, and still reside in Chicago.

I have always wanted to work with children and their families. After graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Child Development, I began working in child care centers with infants, toddlers, and preschool age children. After doing that for a few years, I decided to become a nanny. Being a nanny has really shown me what one-on-one care can do for a child, and it has been a very rewarding experience. I love working with children because they are honest and inquisitive, and always guaranteed to make you laugh! I’m very glad to be given the opportunity to work with families in a new capacity by helping them find great nannies for their little ones!

You may have heard of me, I founded the “No Paci, No Peace Movement” in March of 2016 while in NICU. It was such a huge success, I joined Second City Nannies® almost immediately! Since then, I work as a part time consultant, holding seminars at local hospitals in the NICU department informing children about their rights, and their options for in home childcare. On my spare time, I love playing cars, reading, coloring, visiting play cafes, watching Daniel Tiger and Sesame Street; and currently I have been pursuing a no nap policy at home… upper management seems upset!
